I done Bing for a while but it took forever to even get to where I could get a $5 card for Amazon.  The searches I done I really didn't care if it tracked me.  I logged out after I was done.

Thanks for letting me know about this! I currently use Inboxdollars but there new interface is not to my liking. Sometimes I do the 15-20 (not sure of the exact amount?!!) searches and only get rewarded 3 cents! Not too long ago I was earning 10 cents, and even one or two 25 cent days, but the past month I have only earned 3-5 cents. Sendearnings is another 1 but they have also been not paying as much it seems.
But thanks again and I will definitely give Bing a try!

I use Bing once in a while to earn rewards. But I mostly use Swagbucks to get paid for searches.

You do realize that now Bing is tracking and recording every search you do. And since they are rewarding you, they are most certainly selling your data to third parties (which you agreed to when signed up by agreeing to their terms and conditions).

But if the rewards are worth it for you, keep it up.

I go to Bing and do the Daily allotment of searches in a couple of minutes by using their popular searches, I just keep clicking till I am done,  it has nothing to do with anything personal  (I let Google take that info as it is still the best search engine.)  I have earned 85 $5 Amazon Gift card and I have enough points to get 3 more at the moment and it only takes a few minutes a day (not what it can take to earn .05 here)

I don't like bing as much as google.   How many searches do you have to do a day. Do you have to do searches on edge (internet explorer) browser or can you use chrome?

There is no minimum amount of searches, you can do just one or two (for 5 points each) or a bunch. You could not search at all for a week or more then go back to it if you want. You do need to get 500 points in a month to get and keep level 2 status (there are only 2 levels).
There is a limit to how many you can do in one day though (level 2 has a higher amount and gives a discount on rewards).

You can use any browser you want, but there are bonus points available for doing searches on edge.


Why do people like google more than bing? Is it just perception / name brand? Can someone give an actual reason why one is better than the other (besides bing having a rewards program, which to me makes it better)?

I'm also a fan of Bing.   I like that they have the latest news, etc. right on the page.  You can just click on each one and get your searches done.  I've been doing it for years also.

Are you sure? On the "Redeem" page there are a bunch of sweepstakes and donate options, but if you scroll down there are plenty of gift card options, including Amazon (I just looked right now to confirm).

I can't imainge why they would not be offered to certain people, unless maybe your not in the U.S. or something.

Yeah bing rewards is nice have gottenough 5.00 Starbuck gift cards burger King gift cards. Need to go today and search. Can get sbs at swagbucks for searching but maybe one a day if your lucky.

I don't actually use the searches.  It takes me a couple of minutes to just keep clicking searches(there is no wait time or anything checking for proper searches) that they suggest (basically stuff in the news) they then have a few extra activities for points each day. So I knock it out in 5 min or so.  Not near as much work as trying to qualify for a survey. Easy peasy free gift cards.
