Thoughts on the controversial ending?

They kept showing it over and over and it did not look like a foul to me, bu then I am not really into horse racing.  He was so far ahead I do not think it made a difference.

I have seen it a number of times, have to agree with you.  I don’t see anything, but I’m not into horse racing.

I only know the name. I didn't even remember it was a horse race until I saw all the posts just now.

I did see the foul and understand that the stewards have to call all races by the same rules, even the Kentucky Derby.

It is just a shame because Maximum Security was undoubtedly the strongest horse in the race.  He went wire to wire in front of the rest.

I saw it closer today and yes, Maximum Security did foul. He crossed in the front of 3 horses. As I understand it, they are appealing. I think (or is it rumor?)  that the jockey is banned from racing?

I do not agree with the call. I think Maximum Security should have stayed the winner because he didn't interfere with the guy that called him out. I don't think that horse would have won anyways. But I do not know much about horse racing

I don't like horse racing at all but I did hear about this. I don't know what I think. I can see both sides.

I think the stewards of the race had no choice but to disqualify Maximum Security even though he was the best horse in the race. He stepped in front of two other horses, coming awfully close to injuring them, and the rules are the rules. Maybe he will win the Preakness and the Belmont though.
