Life Lessons Can Make A Difference

I just made a comment on another post here that started me thinking, until I vividly remembered one such lesson I had about 50 years ago and remember often as time goes by.

My first career out of High School was in a machine shop and I progressed util I worked in what they call Job Shops in the Tool and Die Industry. As a sidenote, I actually ended up owning my own shop that made plastic injection molds and later installed the machines to mold the parts.

To get back to my lesson, I was fortunate enough to work alongside the best toolmaker I ever knew. Like any craftsman will tell you, even the best of us makes mistakes and the thing that sets the best apart is what you do about it. My coworker made mistakes too, but they went into the scrap bin faster than it took us to notice and he had another replacement part started instead of wallowing in misery over the mistake. Time is money and spending it making progress is far more valuable than worry over what was lost and gone. That was the lesson he taught me.

Fast forward to today (when I am working online for Fusioncash pennies) and I bet you won't need to scan through very many posts to see where this lesson would fit.

I sure know  I have learned many lessons in life , and the best is simple , if it sounds to good ,it is  and believe none of what you hear and only 1/2  of what you see, and you'll do alright !

So true old buddy, every day is an opportunity to learn something new and share.  Also to reevaluate how one can do things differently in their own lives!

   Do not cry over spilled milk...because it is a waste of time!
   Just learn the lesson, do not do it again and move on.
   Mistakes- We all make them...because we are not perfect.
   It is a hard lesson to learn in this life...but it is reality!
