Yes they will.  It is online and it is printed.  I was not aware they did not teach it any longer. I am pretty sure our local schools do still teach it.  You need to be able to actually sign your name.  Your signature is not printed.

And in case you did not know the American Constitution is not taught in schools any longer so only teaching printing is the least of our worries.

Well us old  people will know what is being written but not the younger generation. Your  right about  the  American Constitution  not being taught in school. But  Obama had a hand in that along with  not  teaching a lot of history that they need to know about.

I think they should still have Script penmanship in school. The kids should learn how to sign their name. Just because there are other ways of doing things, doesn't mean you shouldn't learn old things. Old ways shape who are and teachers the importance of learning history.

I didn't that it wasn't being taught either.  But last night I was showing my 12-year-old nephew something I had written.  He said "Oh, you can write in cursive?"  I had no idea why he would say that.  How do you sign your name to a document?

I rarely ever write in cursive anymore except accidentally when I'm trying to write really really fast. I like the old ways as much as anyone but in all honesty I don't see a ton of use for cursive anymore beyond signing your name.

I have grandchildren in private school and they are learning it. My other grandkids are home-schooled and they have learned it. It's a travesty to not teach it. Part of the dumbing down of America.

I would vote to keep script in schools. You need to be able to sign something and read things that have been written

Some schools still learning it. My nieces and nephews learned in there schools. You did to know script how can you make your signature if you don't know.

I was recently e-mailed something to "sign",  thought I would need to print it and mail it back.  Nope it opened with this docu-sign thing and you selected what signature (font) you liked.  So I guess that is the wave of the future everything will be digital

It's sad and ridiculous.  I'm forever faced with young people that are far worse off due to the No Child Left Behind thing.  Now they won't know script either.

It makes me sad and angry at the same time that they don't teach this anymore. SMH
