Music that reminds you of a time in your life

Do you ever put on a particular song/album that reminds you so clearly of a certain time in your life or sometimes even a specific day? Some music really does that to me but others don't seem to understand sometimes. Youtube autoplay wandered into a certain neighborhood of music today and suddenly I was back in high school overwhelmed with nostalgia.

Yes it happens a lot anymore now that I’m old hearing a song takes me back to younger days when I felt better and life was much happier

Yep, happens to me all the time. Music is such an important part of my life and who I am and the positive feelings music brings to me is one of the best things in the world.

All the time mate when an old song pops up it just brings back a lot of memories.

Yes it's amazing how hearing old songs will take me back to my younger days, bringing back memories that I had long forgotten.

I love the music of the late 50's through the  80's. Any thing  that is not country or  gospel now is not worth listening too.  Guess my age is really catching up on the music.

Earth, Wind, and Fire reminds me of being a young child at home, My mom and dad had the 8 track and any music from the 70s or 80s takes me back to my old home. The 90s music takes me back to high school, when MC Hammer, TLC, Jodeci, Nirvana, was popular. I love to listen to google play falling asleep at night.

there are a few songs that bring back fond memories. the one that comes to mind right now is I did it my way which brings me back to my highschool graduation

                 I have listened to music in my life that brought back many memories. I think of a song that comes to mind then I play it, then the memories flood my mind. Some music brings a smile, while others bring a tear.

I think of all the things, music is the one thing that reminds me of a time in my life. Depending on the song, I can picture where I was, who was there as if I am right back in that momment of time.
