Car wouldn't start in the cold

Wow I know that is aggravating.  Hubby and I lived in NC for two years and seems like we had that problem once or twice (been over 30 years ago so hard to remember) but here in central florida I can't remember ever having that problem although I am assuming it is possible.  Well here is to warmer weather.

I have my son's twenty five year old jeep grand cherokee at home while he is in college. It has the Australian V8 (biggest engine made that year for jeeps) snd it starts right up. I have had to fix a lot of peripherals on this vehicle new computer, brakes, tires, coolant sensor, radiator hoses-but it drives like a brand new car now. I also drive my 1965 Jeep CJ which I aim to keep topless through out the year. I have underground parking at my day time job and a third garage bay at home devoted to her. I am in the process of redoing her directionals and brake lights but she always starts right up and I have used her to pull brand new Ford Raptors/Subarus/Dodge Rams and Toyota Tundras out of snow banks and canyons. I also go with 10W30 oil weight in the winter which I believe is less likely to thicken in the cold weather.

Use to have a ford that also didn't want to start in the cold weather.. start up just fine on a hot day or a warm day.. mechanic baffled because nothing ever appeared wrong with it.. and that is rare.. because a mechanic ALWAYS finds something wrong with your car... I literally hated that car tho it when it was on up in miles it started falling apart rapidly.. until one day it just died.. and that was right after we replaced a whole wheel  because the dark thing fell right off the axel making a stop at the store... we literally were about to turn into the dollar general.. cop even stopped asked if we needed help said he has not seen anything like it in his life.. took pictures and everything.. broke off 4 screws or lugnuts i forget what was said and axel hit ground.. never in my life will i own another ford lol..
