Apples or Pears?

i really like both. But i think i prefer pears however it is much harder for me to find a ripe pear. Apples are much easier to take on the go and apples aren't as juicy as pears.

A “Fries or Onion Rings” discussion got started, so I thought about introducing a similar topic (but about foods more heathful). Which pome fruit(s) do you like better? I’ll say pears for now.

For anyone else who may be wondering what the heck a "pome fruit" is; I looked it up.

"Pome fruits are members of the plant family Rosaceae, sub-family pomoideae. They are fruits that have a "core" of several small seeds, surrounded by a tough membrane. The membrane is encased in an edible layer of flesh." . . . from Google search.

I prefer apples over pears.  I really like Braeburn apples.  Red delicious are probably my least favorite apple variety.

A good juicy pear is a great treat.

I love them both but eat more apples.  Pears are really only available here in the summer months, but apples all year.

I like both, but usually grab the apples over other fruits.

I am somewhat undecided I enjoy both now  but overall I should say Pear maybe ? ahaha then again I do like Apples in deserts.

Apples.  I thoroughly despise pears.  I don't like the texture of the fruit.

I like Pears better. I guess I like them better because they are more expensive than Apples and I can't afford them as much as I can Apples.
