I lost both my parents 24 years ago. They both left 7 weeks apart and still miss them.   I wish I could I talk to them one more time and ask them so many things I never thought about asking them when they were here.

I lost my Dad in June, my mother-in-law in July of this year.  My Mom is on home health hospice care.  I do my best to get down to visit Mom a few times a month.  The winter road conditions will play a big part on my three hour trip now.

I am very sad today because I found out that my girlfriend has too move away and there is just nothing I can do about it. I just keep thinking about all the good times but it just keeps making me sadder and sadder. I wish there was something I could do.

I know the feeling, it has been so hard having Christmas and all the other holidays since my brother passed in June 2016. My parents are so strong, but you can tell they are hurting every time there is a holiday.

Its very hard around the holidays when you have lose loved ones. My mom passed away 14 years ago, and I still miss her during the holidays- I don't think it will ever go away.

The lost of loved ones is a real tragedy.
But I know, God has called them to a better life.
And this makes it not so tragic.

My mom passed in April and I didn't expect to feel a bit sad this time of year.  December is her birth month and I'm trying to think of the good times but I really miss going into her room, having our talks and getting words of wisdom.  I would also sit in her room and play games on my phone while she watched football and Family Feud.  Miss her very much.

I lost 2 friends, and uncle and 2 cousins this year. It gets hard to recover from the loss, especially when they're younger than me (except for my uncle). I have no family left except an aunt and a few cousins.

I think this time of year is especially hard  on any of us when we have lost loved ones; during the holiday we tend to be reminded of past family and friends gatherings; and when they are gone it makes it hard.

i lost 3 loved ones last year in 4 months period.  Including my daughter to suicide, she was 28.  I quit celebrating the holidays, they are not the same.
