I have social anxiety and have had it for many years. It is very hard to cope with and definitely affects my life. I have tried different medications, breathing techniques, etc but nothing seems to work for me.

I have a mild form of it.  I'm not a big fan of crowds.

In crowds I get anxious about knowing where each person in my party is.  Adults, kids, doesn't make a difference,

I do know a couple people who have social anxiety.  Several actually.  And some of there behaviors are just bizarre to me.  I can't empathize in any way.  I've been around these few people with social anxiety for years - and their anxiety takes a toll on me.  My mood actually changes and I get depressed.  My energy decreases and even how I feed my body and soul changes.

I don't have it, but I am not to comfortable with a lot of people hanging around me in my space, makes me cautious.

While I do not necessarily suffer from social anxiety, I do hate being in large crowds, regardless if I know the people or not. I feel more comfortable being in an intimate setting with 1 - 2 people.

The more and more crazy the world gets the more people don't like being in large crowds. I remember going to a ball game when I was younger...stadium held 110,000 and it was almost sold out.  Then going to concerts where the arena held closer to 100,000 than 50,000.  And that didn't bother me at all.  Now I wouldn't want to be in a large crowd like that.
