JC Penney was one of my favorite stores and they had really nice things.

I know it's not a store or restaurant but I miss the dollar theater terribly

well mine is not really anything gone..i am allergic to dairy and so mnay restaurants foods have milk in them..even mcdonalds fries are soaked in milk for flavor..i really miss being able to a pizza with real cheese..and going to zaxbys..i really miss their house salads..but it's not worth using the epipen for..

I miss rax.  They had great roast beef.

There's still a Rax in Lancaster, OH. I used to live on the same block as the Rax. Went there all the time until I moved.

I miss Woolworth drug stores, they use to have a great diner inside when I was  growning up ; we loved to eat there..

When I was a kid in the 80s, there was still a Woolworths with a lunch counter. I so remember smelling hamburgers while looking through the toy section.

There was also a store similar to Woolworth, but a bit larger called McCrory's... they also had a lunch counter and booths!
