Yeah this is ridiculous.  Also saw where a bunch of women are accusing their uber drivers of sexual assault.  When will it end? When the women stop getting attention.  You should have 24 hours and if you don't report it then shut up! Women do exactly what they want to and then when he doesn't want to be with them any longer they cry rape.

Now we are seeing more allegations of sexual assault in the entertainment industry. This must be a bad time to get a job in the entertainment industry.

My problem is most of the things coming out now aren't really sexual harassment.  When it started people like Rose McGowan really were sexually harassed.  Now it's become 'oh he looked at me funny' or 'ten years ago he said this to me'.  I'm like 'really/'  The poor women that actually were suffering wind up being tarnished by everyone coming out of the woodwork.  Who even knows who is legitimate anymore?  I mean sometimes I wonder if these unknowns are just trying to take down big shots.  Not that the thing didn't take place, but that they only see it as harassment now because they know they can ruin a career and give themselves 15mins of fame.  In Brokaw's case, he says he only met the woman twice and that on her bugging him to give her career advice.  Frankly, I'm amazed the woman even remembers, in detail, what happened since all he did was forcibly try to kiss her one time.  She clearly wasn't traumatized or anything.  If it were me, I'd have forgotten the whole thing especially since it was what, almost two decades ago.  I'm lucky if I remember what happened to me last week.

Things done wrong don't "not count" just because they happened a long time ago. I hate people crying wolf about this kind of thing but there are lots of reasons someone might not have been able to say anything at the time.

This is becoming out of hand. With so many women crying wolf when a rape really happens people won't believe the women. Now you can't tell me all these women are telling the truth the problem is figuring out which one is honest.

When someone comes forward 10+ years after an episode, it does make me question - why now?  Especially when other co-workers of Mr. Brokaw say the opposite.  In no way do I want to blame the accuser, perhaps she does feel she was harrassed,  but with all of these events coming to light in the past months, why didn't she come forward sooner?  This one has me shaking my head.
