Use a 27 inch at work and love it but use my laptop at home.  What a difference going from 27 to 14.  Never thought about hooking up the laptop to the tv because I am usually watching it at the same time I and doing things on the laptop

Congrats on your new monitor nice upgrade too mate, I remember having an 13 inch monitor back in the old days.

I know the bigger the better, but I still like my 15 inch.
