Meatloaf

Thanks everyone. I ended up putting 2 eggs, milk, breadcrumbs, green pepper and onion, ketchup, mustard and brown sugar...on top I added more ketchup mustard and brown sugar and mixed it all together and spread it on top of the meatloaf...it was a HIT yay...oh and some pepper yum yum

That is very similar to the way I make meatloaf.  I omit the green pepper.  I love the ketchup/mustard/brown sugar baked on the top.

Onions and breadcrumbs for sure.  For me it isn't as much what is inside but outside.  Alton Brown has a recipe for a meat loaf glaze that is kind of spicy and sweet at the same time and for me it is definitely a meatloaf must.

I really like most meatloafs, but not ones that have a lot of sausage.  I like it cold for sandwiches too.

I'm boring.  I just add mccormick's meatloaf seasoning.  Funny, my dh and ds have been requesting it.

I don't make homemade meat loaf anymore but will when I see it on the buffet. I just remembered Meatloaf was a star on the tv series called 'Ghost Wars'

Most folks put hamburger and crackers in meatloaf, with some seasonings. I don't make this dish very often, I'd rather have other foods to eat than meatloaf!!!!!!!!!

Not a big fan of meatloaf myself which is why I try to slather it in as much topping as possible! Ketchup & brown sugar!
