Unsupported Protocol
« on: January 26, 2018, 06:07:40 am »
I'm getting sick of trying offers and get the message:

This site can’t provide a secure connection

publisher-compliance.com uses an unsupported protocol.
Err_SSL_version_or_cipher_mismatch

This happens with newspapers and other sites I want to read.  I don't know how to change this and it's really getting me disgusted.  I just lost out on a 13 cent offer because of it. Does anyone know HOW to fix this????

It is the security settings of your browser (and/or anti-virus).  If you really want to "fix" this you just need to lower the settings down.  But that is going to expose your computer to a world of bad stuff.  I wouldn't do that unless I was using an old junk computer strictly for Fusion Cash and if it got messed up there is nothing to lose.  Just not worth it to me for .13 cents even $1

Are you using Google Chrome?

If so..If you are experiencing err_ssl_version_or_cipher_mismatch please visit the following Chrome Help Center article for troubleshooting steps.
https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/6098869?vid=0-663174905540-1516994872866

OR..

1. Clear Cache and Cookies.

2. If you’re still facing the same issue, try in Incognito mode. If you no longer see this issue, disable extensions one by one to check which extension is causing the issue.

3. If the issue still persists, reset Chrome settings.

4. If the above steps don't work, create a new browser profile for Chrome.

how do you reset Chrome settings?

I tried the incognito mode and nothing changed. i clear my cache and cookies every day. That's the first thing I do in the morning. I do have a feeling it's a cross between Chrome and Xfinity because a lot of my emails have blank photos and other information, like they were stripped out before I received them.
