Photo shopping pictures ?

I have a  sort of friend who does the worst job on earth with her pictures , she's doing them on her phone and i don't think she knows how stupid they look on a Computer , I mean it's so bad i can't stand it ....  do you tell a person who thinks they look swell that on a computer you look like a freak ?        Or do you never mind,    and just laugh to your self.. ??

I guess it depends on how well you know them.  I had been doing work in my back yard and had a big pile of brush and snagged a picture of a baboon and put it behind the brush.  It was the first one I had done and was just doing it to play.  I showed it to a couple of co-workers and told them look at this dog I saw in my back yard and the one when he first looked at it was like - uh that's not a dog.  Then this other guy got snarly and said "that's photoshopped"  I was thinking no need to be snarly.  Yes it is photoshopped.  I done it for a joke.

I don't know if I would say anything or not.  I done a pic that looked really good where I put my two younger cousins on the moon.  Some of mine have looked really good and others not so much.  The ones that do not look good I delete.  I don't show them.

I guess I would probably just go on with life and no say anything unless she specifically asked me then I would tell her they don't look too real or when you look at them on a laptop they look bad.

I don't know how to photoshop a photo either but I have seen some really good photoshopping done and I've also seen some very poor photoshopping

It would be great if we were free to teach everyone, however in this case I am sure she will learn!

Carson.... oh well.... or is that a man...... Both been threatened ? With one knock on my door? Ha ha.... and even once before.... It's their time to go... are you gonna go find them at the grocery store? Huh? Don't prevent anything.... Or use the management office of the leasing office to get them? Huh? Are you? Ha ha, think you gettin' me huh? Sounds like your threatening me? Huh? You can not officially do that in the context of threatening. Intimidating then? Bullying? That is not care! Or protecting! You like so much to try to be on an All Star team you do not belong on. You ain't an ALL STAR. We just want to nail you on Star, but why? We don't want you to pass thru. Get your Wendy's sign taken away from you? Ha ha... about time. Will keep checking on it to see if it has been done or not..............

My aunt took up photography a number of years ago. She had (had being the important word) a good eye for it and took really nice landscapes. Along come grandkids and she decided to take a photo editing course at a local community college.

 

Now, all she produces are over-photoshopped photos of kids that are so smoothed out they look like wax figures and have unnatural eyes that seem to glow in the dark. Her photos are SERIOUSLY creepy, she and my uncle think they're amazing... I haven't the heart to tell them no one will ever remember those kids as they looked thanks to her "skill" with photoshop.

I'd say if the person is close enough to you, then you can probably comment on the photoshopping without offending them Best probably not to say too much otherwise, given they may really not appreciate that. Nothing wrong with a little photoshop fun, but friends should save friends from bad photoshopping.

I wouldn't say anything... somethings are best left unsaid. Nothing good could come out of it but hurt feelings.

Unless you personally want a copy of the photo, then you could ask her for the original, untouched photo.
