no book changed my life id like some new stuff also my husband has tons of books classics like dickens,tolstoy,dh Lawrence kind of boring need something more current.

Back in the early 70s 1 of Jehovahs people came to my door and for a 25 cent donation offered me the book entitled "Did man get here by evolution or creation".The man was my age at the time <early 20s>and he can smell my friend and i were smoking weed.

I gave him a quarter and thanked him.I put the book on a shelve in my bedroom and maybe a month went and i skimmed the contents.There was a chapter titled "why does God permit wickedness".I always wondered that and read the book.From there i got interested in the bible.

I recommend the reading of the book.

Very true.There is 1 scripture that really explains what it says.

All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work (2 Tim. 3:16-17).

When someone says man wrote the bible that is true,but it is Gods inspiration that told man what to write.And it answers Everything.

Dianetics by L Ron  Hubbard was the difference between me soiling my pants or not while donating books(it was very absorbent)
