Trick-or-Treating for UNICEF

Did you ever go trick-or-treating for UNICEF when you were young? If not, have you taken kids to do so? I went trick-or-treating for UNICEF in 1994, and that was the only time I ever did.

I wasn't even aware that UNICEF hosted an event of this magnitude. I am interested in learning more about it.

The kid takes a box with their logo on it and asks you to make a donation to UNICEF and the person puts money in the little cardboard box.  I would not every do that.  You have no idea that the money would go to the organization.  Most likely it would not.  Would go in the kid or the parent's pocket.
