Louisana VS Michigan

I'm just curious as to what people think about the two VERY different states.  I'm from Michigan but now live in LA.  I personally think it is too hot down here and too SLOW.  Michigan is bigger, better, faster, go go go.  It seems like here people just sit on their porch and wait for the mail to come.  Not all but alot that I've seen.  I've been called a yankee so many times I can't even count.  Every time I hear it I say yup and I'm proud of it!  Any thoughts?

i used to live in Louisiana, though one might seem bigger than the other its normally home that seems bigger and more inviting at least thats how it is for me

I better say Michigan, my husband is from there, and if I don't, that would not be good, that is all I ever here about, detroit, detroit, detroit, I told him if he liked it so much to go back to detroit.

i think if you are usd to the busy way of life eve if you live in a big city in louisana it is still slow i have visited there i love how it s slow but that is why people live there because it is slow and they just take there time and that is ok with me
