hurricane season

I haven't heard what's in store this year....how many hurricanes are" expected".
our building's windows are being prepped.

It's a little early isn't it?  Maybe that's why you haven't heard.  I don't know what is expected this year.  We got a decent little scare last year but it wasn't that bad.  I stayed through it.  I keep saying that we are way overdue for a bad one.  I'm on the coast in SC by the way.

That's one of things I don't have to worry in my area. Hurricanes and in some ways floods.  However, earthquakes is an ongoing concern.  Hurricanes...  I always think of the Twister movie with Helen Hunt.

I guess after Sandy the Northeast has to even be concerned now.

I heard on our local news 2 days ago that there are 17 expected hurricanes this year.

The season will start in a couple of days, be patient..

Ugh, I forgot about hurricane season. I've been thinking more along the lines of tornadoes, probably since we've already had a couple watches/warnings for them.

I have no idea that always brings lots of rain for use.

I have not paid much attention to  what the up coming season will look like, the years I lived in South Florida I paid much more attention, now I don't follow as closely but I know the season is right upon us.

     Many people relocate because they do not want to deal with hurricane season: May 1 to November 30.

So glad I do not live in a area that has hurricanes.  Living near Chicago we do not see to much bad weather except may some snow and that has not been that bad the last couple of years
