Holiday plans

What are you planning to do for the holiday coming up? Are you taking any
extra days off? I will be off Friday around 3:30pm and will not be back to
work until Thursday. I am going to relax.

Don't have any plans. I'll probably just hang out with the family. Years ago when I was a child, Memorial Day was a big deal. My parents, aunts and uncles used to barbecue and then later on in the day, we'd all go out to the cemetery to plant flowers. Today, most of them have passed on and the rest of us are too busy. I made an alter to remember my loved ones. I light candles and place flowers next to their pictures. That's how we honor them now.
