Easter Weekend
« on: April 12, 2017, 01:04:15 am »
Easter weekend is sneaking up on us.

Do you have anything special planned?

Will you be traveling?

I'm thinking about renting a car and having a little staycation.  I just want to do a few things around town and I don't usually have a vehicle so I could accomplish a lot if I do that.

I might also have to make a deviled egg.
Have a great day!

I'm sad this year (more so than in the past years) I won't be able to attend church service this Easter since I have to work.   Although we are going to try and get up and head out for breakfast.  Something my husband and I have never done with my children.

Nothing really planned. My youngest gets back from Spring Break with her father and my oldest is having a couple friends over. Low Key....hopefully...

He is risen. He is risen indeed. Praise him.  :rainbow:

I just found out that my uncle's oldest son (age 41) passed away three days ago in an auto accident. So sad to lose your children. The parents should always go first. Almost unbearable grief for the family.

My new grandson will make his first official appearance at a family gathering.  Today would have been his birth date but he decided to come five weeks early.  Praise the Lord he was and is healthy!
Have a wonderful day!

We usually don't go anywhere or for that matter do anything the last few years but the other day my sister-in-law said something about us maybe doing something with them but I haven't heard anything final yet.  Both my sons have to work because they work at assisted living facilities so whatever happens I guess.

Never any plans. Sons have their "women" and in-laws and that's where they wind up every holiday. I usually make a spiral ham but they're out of my price range this year so I have to forego that. Our foster son brought us a box of pork chops and ham slices and a small ham so that's what I'll be making. He raises his own pigs and steers.
