Probably neither. I enjoy mailing out christmas cards, but when those I send to dont reciprocate a couple years in a row, why bother, I mean even a thank you is better then nothing

I only send Christmas Cards and other cards to my mother. She thinks of them as  :present: and I like to do that to make her feel good. Nobody else gets a traditional, thoughtful, postage stamp, post office mailed card but her.

I really enjoy sending Christmas and Hannukah cards every year. I buy them online at the Museum of Modern Art and they are always gorgeous. But they weigh a lot, so I have a big USPS expense every year to mail them.

I haven't mailed out Christmas cards in a couple of years now.  It is a waste of time to mail out the cards and spend the money for the stamps when they don't acknowledge they received them with a return card.
