Just saw a new GPS product for dogs
« on: November 14, 2016, 03:58:20 am »
I saw an ad on tv for Whistle.com where it has a GPS tracker for dogs. I have looked before to get a few for my cats, but not a lot of places make them and they are expensive!
Anyway, they said they were having a sale on them so I thought I would share the info. I live in an are where a lot can happen to a dog. So I thought there might be someone on here that could use it!

I have heard of that. There is also a Phone app called Fur- Alert. Our local police dept. has promoted it and it is working well for people who lose there pets (and use the app). It is also free of cost.

I will have to let my groups on FB know about that APP! We have a lot of dogs go missing around here. There is a lot of desert around us, so anything can happen, not just a car hitting them. Where I live, we are also close to railroad tracks. It can be bad out there for dogs!

Never heard of it, will have to check it out.  All my dogs have a tag on their collar for getmehome, com.  It's free, you just fill in your information, name, address, phone number vet'S name, address, phone.  Your dogs name, size, color, marks, and upload a picture.  You get a tag with instructions for a person to go to getmehome.com.  The tag you get will also gave a number on it.  The person finding your dog punches in the # and your information comes up.

GPS for dogs has been around for awhile.  Hunters use them for their hunting dogs.  Some of those dogs are very expensive!
Have a wonderful day!
