I happen to completely agree with you.  In a nation that has all the services and entitlements that the United States has, it has to be paid for.  We all benefit in some way at some time.  You don't get something for nothing.

What needs to happen is to re-write the tax code and assure that it is more efficient, balanced, and fair.  Then we need to have officials who truly understand the will of the people as far as where the money goes.  Sometimes some of us will benefit; sometimes some of us won't.

Honestly I really don't know who to vote for, taxes or no.  Pretty much feel we're screwed with either party this time.
