I joined the one hundred and nine million that shopped from home as I did for the last three years. More and more people are adapting this mode. Ninety nine million went to actual brick and mortar locations this year. Last year it was one hundred and three million on line versus one hundred and two million in the stores. I think that shopping malls and brick/mortar stores will follow the way of cassettes and eventually disappear. The decline is paralleling that of post offices, book and music stores. I do not understand the magic behind standing in line all night to get a discount. I am somewhat disgusted by stores that make their employees work on Thanksgiving in order to make a few more dollars. I will not step foot in a store this year .
