Thoughts on Tebow signing with the Mets?

I think that Tebow is a novelty for teams that need to spark interest. He was drafted from a college team that provided him with amazing coverage, and gave him to time to throw. Timing was good for him to get a starting position with the Broncos due to over population on the injury list. His religious theatrics endeared him to so many viewers that were willing to overlook that he was running more yards than throwing. His talent was average to sub par in the National Football League which is why he never solidly started again. I think that he will be managed more baseball and not be able to create his own poor game as he did in football. He is quite athletic and maybe baseball will be his cup of tea but I sincerely doubt it. Theatrics are not as prevalent in Major League baseball.

As a Mets fan, all I can say is....WOW! I will definitely be watching more games, as that man is easy on the eyes! I have always had a thing for Tebow, and was so excited when he played for favorite football team, the Jets. I hope he does well and can bring us to win another World Series!  :in-love:

He'll sell some minor league tickets, jerseys, etc. but that's it. He'll never make the major leagues.

I hope he does well. He really should be playing football, but he seems to be blacklisted for being a practicing Christian. Teams don't want to deal with him being the butt of jokes. But anyway, good luck to him.

Google JediJohnnie and May the Force be with you!

Whatever makes him happy!  No reason not to try we should all go after what we want in life.  It may not always work out but it is worth trying if it makes you happy.

Sounds okay to me but I'm not a baseball fan.
