I love my job and it's super easy, but I will be glad for my two weeks off next week  :)

I have felt that way for about forty one years. At least two jobs since I was twelve years old. I have two wonderful kids to show for it and will most likely work until they plant me in the ground. I took off the day before Labor day weekend so that I could use some of my vacation time to work at my night time/weekend job. Double dipping adds up quick. I have been a little burned out lately but will perk up...I always do. I have at least two more years of two to three jobs as we get my youngest settled into college life.  It doesn't sound like you took too much of a day off though? Washing clothes and paying bills doesn't sound too relaxing. The cat nap sounds like a good idea. I take those every once in awhile and it pumps my day up!

I agree wholeheartedly, especially during the busy season. As a teacher, I greatly anticipated the weekends and any off holidays where I could get a break. In my new position, the current balance seems to make it a culture to where I don't feel overly stressed. I have a feeling this will change as the busy period is coming up in a month.  :o
