promotions

I called to get an activation code for my firewall  protection from the company I bought from.....just renewed.
they said I could get a $100 gift card if I paid $4, I said I just want an activation code please.
They pushed and pushed to give me that promotion.
 
next year, I will wait until the last minute.
I just hope all is well when the new contract of service starts in a few days.
i paid and did my part.
There are times when it's best to wait for someone to rake initiative.

That's the problem with most "companies" today - every one of them has some sort of "promotion" to entice you the consumer, to buy even more than you might have wanted in the first place.
