Does fusion cash send you a tax form at the end of the year if you earned a certain amount?

I haven't gotten one but I also heard that if you earned about $500 a year  on fusion cash then you should include them when you file your tax. But that was me, I am pretty sure someone who knows more about the topic at hand can clarify and help you with your question.

It's $600 received. So anything received from the payments from cashouts from December 2015-November 2016 would go towards the $600. I got a 1099 from them 2 years ago.

put in a support ticket about a month ago and they replied back that when you reach $599.00 they will send you a W9 form.  Hope this helps.

I've been with Fusioncash for a couple of years now and never got one, so that's a NO!

Yes FC does send tax forms. The FC admin stated on the forums a while back that anyone who makes $600 or more in any calendar year will be required to submit their social security or tax ID number for tax purposes and will be receiving 1099-MISC form as required by the IRS law. To avoid receiving the 1099-MISC form, you can make no more than $599.99 to avoid a 1099-MISC form. That's the maximum you can make.

As a tax professional you will receive a 1099-MISC for $600 or more that you received in that given tax year. Example would be January 2016 thru December 2016. I have not made more than $300-400 per year so I will not see a 1099 unless I make this my full time gig...lol. Hope this helps!

No limit for reporting income on your return. If you make $1, the IRS wants it reported.

Although this is true, the IRS also is not going to quibble if you may $1 somewhere and don't report it. Which is why the $600 limit is often quoted; you should get a 1099-MISC form if you've received $600+ from any one source, and it is from that reporting that the IRS will take a more serious look.

However, if you make fairly good money from online sources, you may want to still report all online incomes even if no one online source paid you more than $600. For example in my side DJ / karaoke business, I report all income received from doing shows, even though I hardly ever earn more than $600 from any one source (most shows are for small, private parties and range $100-$500 per show).

I was merely pointing out the correct information. Not all sources are even required to file a 1099 even if they pay you over $600. Just wanted to post actual information so that people can make their own decisions.

I am sure they do if you earn over $600.  Or if you start getting close they will likely ask for your SS numb or freeze your account until you provide it.  I have never earned close to that.

You do not have to turn it in unless it is over $600.  But each company can have their own rules as to when THEY send a 10-99.
