Perhaps we might see him and his lawyers come up with another way to avoid that. No matter what the results would be, I think his legacy will always be tarnished by that. You see a lot of great names in sports go down in history with just one bad choice. Look at Armstrong, Jones, A-Rod, and perhaps many others. In the future people will always talk about the negatives no matter how good you were.

When I saw the heading of your post, I thought, "What did he do this time?!" He's my least favorite quarterback, so I guess I really don't care what happens to him. This whole incident does confirm my thought that he's not very ethical though.

If he did cheated, he should get suspended or remove the win from the record books.

I think it's worse for him now, in public opinion anyway. I don't think, as the quarterback, he could've not known that the footballs felt differently. I really think he should've just sucked it up and took the punishment the first time around.

You always look worse when you lie.And Brady had that issue throwing away his cell phone.

Thats why Pete Rose NOT in HOF....he lied about his gambling.Shoulda just took his lumps and went on.I am sure his humility woulda got him in.

I watched this interesting clip about a student (who's last name is Goodell ironically) who's science experiment attempts to prove Brady's innocence...I'm not allowed to post links here, but look it up (Google) - worth a watch....

I am glad. I think that Belicheck should have had the same restrictions placed on him. What ever happened to management taking the blame for the mistakes of their employees.  I would have said 'alleged mistakes' but the telephone incident was way too suspicious. And this isn't the first time that the Patriots have portrayed less than honorable behavior. The whole lip reading scandal was ridiculous. I love watching the NFL but cheating, poor behavior and then lying to cover it all up really puts a poor taste in my mouth. I am happy that the league is coming down on all of these prima donnas that feel it is acceptable to abuse others when in public. I think that the league needs to take more responsibility for concussions as well. One of our friends just lost her husband to a concussion related brain death after playing in the NFL for eight years.

I think Goodell has it in for him what about the other two players got off one beat his girlfriend in elevator did  ot get suspended, the other one beat his kid with a branch

Peyton Manning used to OVERINFLATE his *bleep*. haha, seriously though, he has huge hands and would often overinflate them to give him an advantage because he would be able to grip the ball, but not the other QB. I'm sure all QBs have a preference how they like the ball inflated and (as a Steeler fan) I don't think it's fair to penalize him (Brady) for the NFL not regulating inflation of game *bleep*.
