Today I heard in the news that home values are rising.  I am wondering how general a statement this is.  So...are home values rising in your area as far as you know?  Is your home worth much more than it was 5 years ago, two years ago?  I am just wondering as I live in mid-Michigan and can honestly say that my home has been rising, but oh! so slowly.  Worth only a few thousand more than it was five years ago.  At this point, I am wondering if my home will ever recover the value it had in 1998 when I re-financed my home.

Our home goes up every year.  The City and County say they aren't going to raise property taxes, so they raise your house valuation instead....which generates more taxes.

Our home values are rising by giga-bytes. It will continue to rise as most insurances and bank interest are also climbing due to influx of taxes imposed by a city or county.

   Some people cannot afford Real Estate anymore because prices are too high.
