Best friend follow up from previous post made by aggie49
« on: January 25, 2016, 06:51:59 am »
While responding to another post I thought it would interesting to find out everyone's opinion on having a best friend.  Just how many best friends do most people have?  I've had BFF gal pals growing up, my husband as a true confident.  And even work associates I find to be close with.  When really getting into the meat and potatoes of friendship it can be a real toss up for me on who is the best of the best friends.

Of all the friends I have in the world, I only have one and only truest and best friend forever and that is my dear wife. Nothing will ever change or replaced that for me.

I only have 1 BFF.  She was closer than a sister and cannot be replaced even though she has passed a few years ago!  RIP "Jettie"!

I noticed a trend in friendships when my teens were tweens.  The kids didn't define best friends.  There entire group/click constituted there best friends.  Now that they are teens... they've narrowed down there friendships.  I suppose I was the same way...just never payed attention until I had my own children.
