Laptop computer batteries

I'm afraid I'm guilty of using my laptop battery wrong, too. I almost always leave my battery plugged in, which decreases its life in the long term. But I rarely ever have a need to use it disconnected, because I don't have a wireless router, so it suits my purposes, and that's all that I care about.
