I know this does not help but my birthday is next Saturday. I can't believe how fast time goes.

For my daughters birthday we only did a small cake. If you are having adults come you can do some finger foods like sandwiches and chips. Happy Birthday to your one year old :)

It depends on who will be attending the party, if there is a party.  My son's first birthday (many many years ago) it was simply the three of us, I baked a small chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and let him have at it.  Precious moments and some of my favorite pictures.   There will be many birthday parties in the years ahead, I'd go easy for the first.  Leave it just the family.

A small cake for them to dig into just alone. It will get messy. But such cuteness.

a small birthday cake and a scoop of icecream is really all you need for 1 yr old birthday.
adults may need more food but that all the birthday child needs. :peace: >:( :snowflake:
Be grateful for what you have and you will receive more than you ever expected

If you believe it you can achieve it.
