Happy 1st Day of Winter!

Here we go again with the beginning of winter 2015-2016. Upstate NY has been mild so I'm bracing myself for the other shoe to drop. Happy Winter!

yeah w all know how our winters here in the south go..here in sc it was warm...supposed to be in the 70-75 thursday and friday...but we will probably get some ice between jan and mar

In the cornfields of Chicago it was 47 on the first day of Winter.  2nd day of Winter 2015.  62.  Raining like cat's and dogs too. This is very strange to have rain and warmth.  If we don't have snow we typically have a chill.  No complaints here.  Can't stand the mess snow brings not to mention driving in it.

Certainly doesn't feel like winter! Here in New Jersey it's in the 60s. I was supposed to go to New Hampshire for New Year's weekend for a snowmobiling trip, but that's not happening since there isn't any snow up there yet! I should have bought a boat!

well if its the first of winter Id like the snow too please! Wont have a white christmas this year, starting to wonder if I will have ANY snow.

I saw on the news California and Nevada getting snow, very strange

I like the winter solstice because now each day slowly gets longer and lighter in the evening

My first day of winter was about 64 degrees. I felt strange because normally it is very cold around this time.
