Christmas is a few days away so ready how many of u guys are ready? Whos all done shopping?me still have a few more gifts but other then that im ready

Christmas doesn't seem the same as in years past. For many, it's buying, buying and more buying of things that others may or may not want. People, in my opinion aren't thinking of the reason for the season. Most of my presents to others were cards and an invitation to church. Just don't forget the reason.

Christmas is the whole season to me.  We celebrate Christ's coming birth throughout the Advent season as we prepare our cantata songs in the church choir, our children or grandchildren re-tell the story via their Christmas story.

We do exchange gifts; but the being together as family is way more important than the gifts.

I am trying to make the best out of this holiday season. I lost my 8yr old son in January and Christmas was our favorite holiday, I have my daughter who will be 2 in January as well so I try to stay in the Christmas spirit for her. I just finished my Christmas shopping yesterday.

I am sorry you lost your son. I am glad you have a little girl you can love twice as hard to get you through such an ordeal. God bless.

I am pretty much finished but definitely not ready for christmas. This year the whole family wont be together and that really sucks.
