Funny Thanksgiving Memory

My sister's boyfriend was enjoying my Mom's pumpkin pie a few years ago and all of a sudden my Mom screams out to him and says "stop eating it I forgot something!"  We all thought it was an ingredient and he didn't seem to mind the taste, but what my Mom forgot to do was COOK IT! :D  :o :o :o 8)  We always talk about that each year.  Anyone else have any holiday funnies they remember?
