What place do you think is a great place for a vacation?

Well I live in Florida and I just as soon stay here or go to the mountains.  But due to health issues I don't know if I will be traveling anywhere which stinks but I'm just as happy as home anymore.     If I did feel up to going to the beach I'm only 30 minutes away from a famous beach in Florida.

There are lots of great places for an excellent vacation. Two of my favorites are to go camping on Prince Edward Island in Canada and to go to the beach at Cape May, NJ.

The two vacations that are on my bucket list are New England in October and a Caribbean cruise (did one years ago as a teenager, but want to go again as an adult with my wife).  There are many others that I would enjoy, but these are the two at the top of the list.

I live in Sandusky, Ohio which is a mini-destination for many in the summer, so I try to enjoy the vacation-y tourist parts of the area as much as possible while still staying in the comforts of home.  We will also be going to Ocean City, MD every three years for the next 10 or so while our daughter is in competition dance as her studio enters the competition there every third year.

I haven't been everywhere yet, so I can't say in general where the best places are to vacation but I think it depends on what you're going for.  For relaxation I'd like to hit a beach.  My family and I spend the early part of this year in the mountains. Some people may want to relax in a slow town and others may want to go to a fast paced city to get a taste of big city life.  It just depends on what you're seeking.

2020 I will be taking 3 international vacations.  I don't know where they will be yet, but I'm currently thinking Costa Rica, Dubai, and Jamaica among other options.  In the meantime I'll continue to explore this wonderful country of ours.

I have only been to Florida and South Carolina for vacation. I prefer Florida. The beaches are so pretty. We are thinking of going to Paradise Island, Bahamas this year or next.

Florida has lots of bugs in the summertime. A place to go with a really nice summer climate is Prince Edward Island in Canada. It has great camping facilities, an amusement park, and great beaches. Another really fun place to go to is Alaska, particularly Denali National Park.
