Raise to $10 a Month for Posting?

What an entertaining thread this has turned out to be.  Five hundred is a lot of posts.  I got curious as to how many 500 posts would look like.  I counted the posts in this thread - 15 on each page (counting mine as #15 on page 6).  That's 90 posts, not even one fifth of a 500 post requirement.  Even if FC had a source of revenue to pay us for that many posts, I'm afraid I would get burned out pretty quick unless I needed the money awfully bad.

Another way to look at it, is 17 posts a day. If you have a dozen or so fully engaged interesting writers passing real ideas back and forth (instead of Me too posts) I think you would be amazed how easy it is. I based this discussion on a real site I joined Oct 10 that had that opportunity (they since lowered it from getting paid on a max of 17 per day to 10 per day) and I have posted 625 as of today. I still average over 14 per day (420 per month) just because I find it interesting. I could claim over $9 so far, but I would rather use it for advertising on there and not drain the site budget.
