Baby shower gift ideas

My best friend is having her baby shower next month.  Moms what are some gifts that you loved?  What's something that was really useful for you and the new baby?

When people go together to get a big ticket item that is extremely helpful...such as a crib, stroller, etc.

Also, baby supplies are  always needed and greatly appreciated.

If you can find out what type of diapers, wipes, bottles, food, etc. that the mom plans to use it makes for a great/well-needed gift. You can also present these gifts in really fun ways like a diaper bouquet.

You can take those thick cloth baby diapers and buy some ribbon and sew it down the length of the middle to make really cute burp rags.

my daughter in law registered at babies rus and picked out what she needed and wanted. Little surprized at the cost now days been 24 yrs since my last baby. Outside of diapers,clothes things they need a baby swing was used all the time . Baby is due in January had the baby showers week ago and shw got a ton of stuff. will ask her what she likes the best.

It's always a good idea to get them something they can use. Diapers and baby clothes are always a good idea.

Check babiesrus. Hopefully she registered and that will give you ideas.  A few months ago I fever a friends daughter a baby monitor.

I'm not crafty person so making stuff is out.  I'll ask her if she has a registry.  My other friend asked about it months ago but I don't think she set one up yet.  We live in different states but I will be flying in to attend the shower so a gift registry would definitely help and I can mail a gift but still bring one too.

Baby monitor, every mom wants this. Diapers and clothing are great gifts as well.
