applying to hourly jobs at home

Sometimes because of circumstances you need to work from home, that may have been the reason for the loss of the last job.  After the accident my husband had, I could not leave home for a job, you don't know what the circumstances are, and you can't just assume because it worked before it will work now.    Anyway, I have been applying all over the place for seasonal work/holiday....and sometimes these can turn into permanent (fingers crossed).  But if anyone comes up with good jobs to do at home I am ready too!
 

You have the right attitude.  Some on here don't.  They are opinionated and jump to conclusions when they don't have all the facts...which are really none of their business.

lol. You are as opinionated as anyone else you are accusing.  Everyone has their own opinion.  It's a public forum.  If you post in a public forum then you make it anyone else who posts in the same forum business.  You can't ask a question and then get mad when people don't give you the answers you want to hear.  Cold hard facts are there are not too many legit work from home jobs.  I am sure everyone would rather sit on their butt at home and make big money working 20 minutes a day.  And I make no apologies but I don't buy the disability crap.  Yes, some people are truly disabled but most of the people who draw a disability check are not disabled.  And the ones who get fighting mad at that statement are the ones who are guilty of doing just that.  If you are truly disabled then it should make you mad as well that so many are drawing a check and there is nothing wrong other than they are lazy.

Well thanks everyone. I am going to keep applying. I had two job offers but they were commission based, not paying good. I will wait and see what happens. I just have circumstances which won't allow me to work outside the home, I might be able to in a couple of months though. Then I can try to apply outside of the home. Anyway, I know it is possible and realistic to get a job at home, I've had them before. However, I know it is easier to work outside the home but it's not an excuse. Thanks everyone for their input.

You prove my point.  Nuf said! No use debating someone like you.  Doesn't mean I don't agree with some of the stuff you've said throughout this forum, but sometimes you are very opinionated which shows you are close-minded.  Do what you want, say what you want, but you may get negative responses.

There are some really good work at home programs out there that are not scams. I myself have been home for 6 weeks from work and thought about it too. Some people that have worked for the majority of their lives need a break and don't want to deal with that 9 to 5 work schedule any more and it's truly sad when someone has to be the negative one when they should keep their negative, opinionated comments to themselves. Thanks. I will check out that website. I found a few work at home job boards. I might have a possible interview with a company for a seasonal sales position at home. I will wait and see what the compensation is. I had a job offer but it was only paying for commission. There are legit jobs at home but I understand everyone's concern, I know there are more opportunities outside the house.
