I leave my wife's FB page alone and she leaves mine alone.  Neither of us have anything to hide from the other or any reason to be suspicious or jealous of the other. She is very rarely on FB and never gets any/many messages there in the first place.  Whenever one of our mutual friends posts something of interest, I usually have to ask my wife if she has seen it (and she often has not).

I think FB is great for staying in touch and catching up with old friends, but it can be dangerous with some relationships.

Relationships are built on trust, if you can't trust why be together.

tgreen20 is correct.  If you can't trust your partner 100%, then why be together?

I had to read your post a few times because it didn't make sense.

But no, when I was in a relationship I did not ever go into my partner's email or social media accounts. If you don't trust the other person than it's time to move on.

I set him up a fb page or us together and another one for me, but alas he gets into mine any way.  I don't mind except sometimes he shares things I would rather he did not. But oh well I do not have anything to hide. If that was the case I would set another. But just as soon my life was an open book for him.
