I have no idea about selling them.  My wife does make her own cards and they are the envy of the family.

I have to be honest.  I usually buy Greeting Cards at the dollar store because I know how quickly I throw a card away.  I would; however, like to suggest a site for those who are creative and/or into graphic design. Zazzle is a site where you can upload the cards you create so people can buy them directly from the site.  Then you can put your creations on other items besides cards.

i think hand made greeting card are a personal and a great way to express your feelings that a store bought greeting card can't express for you

I think it is a good idea because it gives them more of a personalized touch to them. I will print out pictures I find on the computer and then add my own words.
