Did anyone watch them? Thoughts on some of the winners?

Yes and No, I only watch a very small portion of it.  The Catlyn Jennifer part.

I didn't see it but someone posted Caitlyn Jenner's speech and I wanted to cry! She was such an inspiration and her speech was so touching! Kudos to her and all that she stands for! I loved her as Bruce but love her even more as Caitlyn! :D

He is about the sickest freak of nature to ever walk on the earth.  And HE did not deserve any type of award.  Unless they gave an award for "Sickest Physco Freak" or something like that.

And no I did not watch it.  I heard about the award they gave to him.  And I saw a small portion on the news where he accepted his award.  I only saw that until I could get the channel changed.

He is so gross!

The ESPYs were pathetic, could you get anymore PC madness in such a short time :bad:  Most of the awards didn't go to those who actually deserved them.  The Jenner thing was such BS and of course had to be the longest segment >:(  Every time I went back to see if it was over, IT was still on.  The only reason I was watching the ESPYs at all was because I play Streak for Cash on ESPN and had to check when each award was given so I could make my next pick. In forum on ESPN there were thousands of complaints on how rigged the show was, also being on ABC didn't help :bad:

The only two "meaningful" awards/moments I can recall in ESPY history were Jimmy Valvano and Stuart Scott.  Bruce Jenner's award was offensive to sports as a whole in my opinion. In years past I usually watched the ESPY's for the legitimate sports awards, but this year I did not watch any of the show or the video clips that came afterward.  The ESPY's jumped the shark when it was announced that Jenner was being honored.

I agree with you. He didn't deserve that award. I thought it was supposed to go to someone that had courage to overcome some disability, not a gender change. That's NOT a disability.

It's for monetary gain because, after all, he was virtually unknown except for his Kardashian skit since the Olympics. Sure, he was a big hero in the Olympics, but you can't live off the publicity of the Olympics for the rest of your life.

i don't watch them crazy award shows.   Especially this one.  I was really mad when Lauren Hill was looked  over for the award and they were giving it to "Burce" Caitlin Jenner.  It was just wrong.  in the end Lauren did get an award but not the right one.  She should have got the one for Courage not Jenner.
