What do you do for left over food?

There are only two of us now so I have learned to cook smaller amounts of food.  Where there are leftovers my husband takes them to work for lunch.   We try our best to not waste anything.

It depends on what it is. Pork and chicken make nice BBQ sandwiches. Beef if only make into sandwichs or casseroles.

Caseroles we have the next day for lunch or freeze for another meal.

Eat leftovers.  Use leftover ingredients to make new dishes.  Leftover chicken makes a wonderful chicken salad and then soup.  Or use your leftovers for lunch the next day.

i seal them in an air tight container and take them to work with me the next day for lunch

Put it in containers until someone eats it, and if not throw it out.

I put all leftover food in containers and put them in the refrigerator to be eaten in the next few days.  In our house we never throw away food and our leftovers never last long in the fridge.  I like having leftovers as I don't have to cook all the time.

I have very few leftovers since I live by myself but if I do I put it a plastic storage container.

If I have anything left over I take it to work the next day... but, if it is a lot, I freeze it to use later!

I try not to have leftovers too often. they do not always taste all that great the next day.

usually it is ate that day or the next for lunch..but i usually only fix enough for 1 meal

I usually eat leftovers for lunch or snack. I put the leftovers of that into a covered container in the frig, combine it with other stuff and make a big pot of homemade dog food to treat my furbabies.
