What are some very good movies? I have a few select I really like and can watch over and over. Ann of Green Gables, Titanic, Wedding Singer, Shindlers List, and Passion of Christ.

This past weekend I caught The Color Purple.   I had forgotten how much I like this movie, it's on my top 5.  Also a fan of Shindlers List.    Recently saw Philomena, that was a great story.

Oh love the Color Purple. That is a good movie. I am sort of an 80's movie gal - I love - 16 Candles, A Christmas Story, St. Elmo's Fire, The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink just to name a few. A newer one is Dumb and Dumber 2. It was filmed in our area, and we recognized a few locals in the movie.

There are a lot of them, most of the ones have been mentioned here.  I love the Green Mile, Philomena was very good, Titanic is one of my favorites as well as most of the movies from Nicholas Sparks books, they are pretty good too.

How Green Was My Valley, Medicine Man, Twister, Andromeda Strain, Wizard of Oz. I can watch them over and over again and love them each and every time.

Yes, to Ann of Green Gables!...I loved that series as a kid...I also like The Burbs, The Lost Boys, Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, Friday and Ghost to name a few.

I love a good chick flick- The Notebook, Beaches, The Stepmom, etc. but. There are many others listed here too!!

I like any science fiction movies, so for me, anything like Star Wars, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Alien are good movies to me. I guess it all depends on your genre and what interests you.
