Well a year ago i had surgery on both feet my big toe the bones were rubbing together because i had no joint left so he cut the bone an put metal plates in now there bothering me he said he can take them out but i cant walk for 6weeks not gone work for me

omgosh 6 weeks?? thats a long time --but if it will help you keep from having pain you might have to do it --i am so sorry you are having so much trouble with your feet hope it gets better soon

He put them in because there was no joint left....now might be taking them out.  If there's no joint left, won't that mean a lifetime of pain too?

 (If it were me, I'd be getting a second opinion before deciding to have them taken out...we have so many medical people making such disturbing diagnoses'/remedies around here lately,  that none of them can be trusted.)

I'm not saying it's the same for your area...just saying what I would do if it were me.  There seem to be too many stringing people along, doing unnecessary procedures for every dime they can get...and no healing to be had.
