new piping for an old building

the apartment building I live in was built in the 1980's. the maintenance team is constantly plugging up leaks here, there and everywhere. next  week sometime, the building will get all new water pipes for a cost of "drum roll please" - 1 million dollars...... that is a whopper of a price tag. For the past 27 years [ the current company ownerwrship] though, the water leaks have been a constant expense.

Yes, I imagine that is a big expense, I know because of the cold weather in this area a lot of people have had problems with pipes bursting.

just be careful when looking for contractors to do work in your home.there a lot of scamers out there.
