why must the stores push the holidays on us i feel they do this with all the holidays anymore we went shopping today and they already have the valentines day stuff out they need to let them get a bit closer before they start pushing the next one on the people

I worked retail for 18 years for a major department store,,,  I retired last year.   the last 5 years were the worst as each year it seemed we would be putting Christmas things out earlier and earlier till the last year it was  the last of August and we were putting Christmas Trees out.  That was enough for me,,,  When my Anniversary year came around I said I had had enough and retired.    I just can't understand why we can't enjoy onfe holiday at a time instead of putting Bathing Suits  out with Christmas Trees

I think it is because of the big competitions of all the retailers now a days. Nobody wants to be the last one.

I think all this emphasis on holiday shopping is one of the reasons I'm ready for Christmas to be over by the first of December.  By the time the day is actually here I'm on sensory overload and just don't want to hear it anymore.  I'm listening to a lot of Black Keys and Muddy Waters this week just to get the jingle bells out of my ears.

yes i went before christmas need a few christmas bags for a few extra gifts and they were already putting out valentines things --we live in a rush rush world
