I've received around $570 already this year so I'll have to do the forms this cashout .

what do they do, send you the form to fill out when you get close?...I won't be reaching $600 this year because I am going to cash out by end of this month, but I don't want my Dec. payment to be denied because I am so close..

When I went to cashout in October I got a message that I had exceeded $600 and had to do an identity verification and online  w-9 form.

It's money received in the calendar year and not money earned so all payments you received starting from the January 16 one count towards the $600. If you think you're close I would cashout earlier in the month so you have time to go through the process and still be able to cashout on time. I tried to do it too late in the month so now I'll have a big payment coming in December instead of two smaller ones in November and December

ladavia89, thanks for the info about when to cash out when you are getting close to $600. I am getting close to that but am not there quite yet. I will be before year's end.

I have never had this problem because I don't make enough to go over the $600 per year.  Wish I did make more money, but don't have enough time to devote to doing more things.

Me neither! It's a good problem to have, though it must be rather frustrating waiting for everything to go through OK!

Well, it looks like I'm not going to have to file a W-9. I have over $600 in earned money but in total payments for the year it is under that. I'm relieved actually after hearing what some other members went through.
